Major research projects in the laboratory are listed in the table below. Nearly all projects have external funding. The largest source is the Technical Development Centre (TEKES), an agency of the Finnish government funding research and development in engineering. Another government agency funding more basic research is the Academy of Finland. Nowadays also EU has an important role in funding.
