3.2.3 Note
A note is typically a short message that you create directly in BSCW. Notes are a convenient tool to:
- inform the workspace members on a subject,
- start and organize a discussion about a problem,
- ask all members about their view on a topic.
Within a discussion, you may create new notes on their own
or as a 
to other notes, thereby contributing to discussion threads
(see 4.6).
Outside discussions, a note can exist as an entry in your clipboard or trash
when you have cut, copied or deleted the note.
