8.2.3 Editing flow folders
As a member of the flow folder or as user responsible for the current task you may not only modify the contents of the flow folder, but also its list of tasks. You may change the list of tasks by adding new tasks, by deleting existing tasks, by changing the order of tasks, or by changing the specification of existing tasks including the responsible(s).
- Select
from the action
menu of the flow folder. The ‘Edit Flow Folder’
form lists the task as a table. Each task has a unique number
shown in the left-hand column. The number of the next task is
shown in the ‘Next’ column of the task table.
If the field in this column is empty, the task is followed by
default by the next task in the list. - Hit [Add new task] to specify an additional task.
- In the ‘Add Task - Edit Flow Folder’ form, enter a name for the task and an optional description.
- Specify one (or more) users who shall be responsible for the task. The users responsible for tasks may also be selected from your address book or determined by performing a search for users.
- Use the form section ‘Forward to:’ to determine the next station in the flow of tasks. After completion of a task, by default, the flow folder is forwarded to the next task in the list. Alternatively, you may enable forwarding the flow folder to another task or one of several other tasks.
- Finally create the task by clicking [OK].
- Use the icons in the ‘Edit’ column of the task
table to change the order of tasks
(
and
),
to edit task specifications
(
)
or to delete a task
(
).
- Continue to add more tasks or to edit existing tasks until the list of tasks is complete. Choose [Go back] to end the editing cycle.
