HTML documents (MIME type text/html) are edited directly on the BSCW server using the action   Edit .

With some recent Web browsers, e.g. Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer 6.0 and up, an HTML editor is being used that has been integrated into BSCW. The ‘Edit’ shows the HTML document in the editor section of the form where you may now edit the document. Invoking the ‘Save’ operation in the editor or hitting [OK] closes the editing session and replaces the existing HTML document with the edited one or creates a new version if the HTML document is under version control.

Should you use a browser that does not work with the integrated editor, e.g. Konqueror, Opera or Safari, HTML documents are edited like ordinary text documents (see 4.3.1).
