The default event filter as described in the previous section may be overridden on a per object basis by invoking   Change    Event Filter  in the object’s action menu. This presents the ‘Change Event Filter’ form which is very similar to the one used for the default filter. It shows which services you have activated and which event categories are valid. By checking the respective check boxes you may modify the settings for the object given. Folders inherit their individual settings to their subfolders.

Specifying the event filter on the object level does not allow to disable or enable a complete event notification service. This may only be done by setting your default event filter which may be restored for the current object by hitting [Restore default filter] or which may be reset via hitting [Change default filter].

A configuration of the event filter which deviates from the default event filter is indicated by an icon in the entry of the object concerned. Click this icon to view or change the event filter.
