T-106.5550 Research methods - Quantitative methods in
Computing Education Research (5 cr/ECTS)
Spring 2008
The course will be organized as a period course on the first part of
February. The schedule is the following:
- Part 1 (February 6-8th)
- Part 2 (February 13-15th)
The course comprises from pre-assignments, lectures, practical hands-on
exercises with statistical software packages (SPSS), home exercises,
and a personal project work.
If the project work is larger than the course extent allows, students
can get additional 3 ECTS from course T-106.6500, Special course in
computing education research.

On Wednesdays and
Thursdays lectures are held in a seminar room A106 (Tietotalo, 1st
floor). On
Fridays lectures are held in lecture hall T4 (same building, 2nd floor).
