We want to use the sftp and ssh(secure telnet) connection clients. The ssh connection client worked immediately. But the sftp client gives the following error : "Failed to open a secure file transfer session" (the logon with user and password works fine) The server to which we connect is a rented server with ssh preinstalled. Do we need to reconfigure the sftp client (and how do we need to reconfigure it. Or does something has to be changed on the server. Furthermore our service providor does address translation.
