2.1 Registering as a BSCW user

Before starting to use BSCW, you have to register once as a user of the BSCW server. After a simple authentication procedure (see 4.1) the BSCW server "knows" a registered user. Basically, this is a combination of

  • your user name
  • password and
  • an email address.

Using your user name and password, you can access your folders and workspaces from any computer with Internet access and a suitable Web browser.
