The Deliverables of the Literary Study.

This page has been added because of some unclear language in the lecture slides. In particular, the slides told you to write "prose about the review". The fixed slide tells you to "Write a review of the related work you find. This should be approximately a page (~5000 characters) of prose."

Briefly, the deliverable for this due date is the literary review part of the introductory section in your final report.

  1. Find publications (conference or journal articles, technical reports, books, ...) which describe the technologies or algorithms you are evaluating or contain similar evaluation work as yours.
  2. Find all relevant code or pseudocode of the algorithms you experiment with, or download and install all the relevant software systems you plan to evaluate.
  3. Write a page-long review of the literature and include citations to them in the References-section. Note that you should not include any found code or pseudocode in this deliverable, but citations (URLs, for example) to the source of the pseudocode may well be worth presenting and you may include a sentence or two about the origin of the code, or even a full paragraph about larger pieces of software.

One way to begin your work is by taking the LaTeX-template and start writing your review and include the citations in it. You can leave the other parts of the template empty, but please update the title and authors list.
