How to Enroll.

1. Form groups of 2-3 persons. One-person groups are possible but not recommended. Group size does not affect grading - a larger group gets the same grade for the same work as a smaller.
2. Estimate how much time you can invest in the course and discuss the grade you aim at.
3. Choose an ordered list of three most preferred topics. Own topics are possible.
4. Write an email to the lecturer according to the following example:

   We'ld like to enroll:
   Matti Meikäläinen       meikkis@iki.fi  12345a
   Tiina Teikäläinen       teikkis@iki.fi  23456b
   
   The topics we prefer, in decreasing order to preference is:
     1) Effect of Cache on Algorithms
     2) Programming Language Comparisons for Numerical Computations
     3) String Searching Algorithms
   
   We need perform the course with at least 4 cr's, aim to a grade 
   of at least 3, and we are both prepared to invest at least 
   20 full work days to reach this. We are willing to present 
   our work in the miniconference.
   	    

   Note that "T-106.290" in the Subject field of the mail hopefully prevents your mail from being lost in the spam.

5. Within a few days I will reply with a mail message that assigns you the topic and an assistant.
